مجابهة الكوليرا ( ولاية الخرطوم )
تدخلت منظمة رامج الخيرية بإنشاء غرفة معالجة داخل مستشفى البلك للأطفال للتخفيف من وباء الكوليرا. كان ذلك في الفترة من 6/1 لمدة أسبوع، حيث قدمت رامج محاليل وريدية ومضادات حيوية وجميع المعدات اللوجستية لغرف العزل. وجاء التقرير على النحو التالي:
في اليوم الأول، بلغ عدد الذين دخلوا 74
في اليوم الثاني 55
في اليوم الثالث 63
في اليوم الرابع 52
في اليوم الخامس 54
في اليوم السادس 58
في اليوم السابع 53
بلغ إجمالي عدد الذين دخلوا الغرفة طوال الأسبوع 409 أطفال و عدد الوفيات طفلان فقط.
كان لهذا التدخل أثر واضح في خفض معدل الوفيات في المستشفى، مما ساهم في زيادة معدل الشفاء. وبما أن الخدمة الكاملة قُدمت مجانًا، فقد خففت من معاناة المواطنين. وشملت هذه الخدمة التحضير اللوجستي وتعقيم المكان والإرشادات وغيرها من الخدمات المتنوعة التي لاقت استحسانًا وقبولًا وموافقة.
